Get Involved

There are many ways you can support the Society of St Vincent de Paul and its service to families in our communities.

Join one of our existing conferences in your town.

Volunteers are needed for our home visits to help struggling families with basic needs…in our food and clothing pantries….visiting elderly shut-ins, people in hospitals, nursing homes, and prisons. Each of our parish-based conferences provides a variety of services. One will fit your talents and time.

Become active in advocacy by communicating to our elected officials on legislation impacting the poor.  The Society works closely with the U.S. Catholic Council of Bishops on positions that support Catholic social teaching.

Help an individual in a lasting way to get out of poverty and to self-sufficiency through our mentoring program Coming Together to Get Ahead.
